She was a native of Cumberland County, KY, a former resident of Fairplay in Adair County, KY, and was a resident of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the the late William Henry and Mary Ellen Murley Capps and the widow of Edward Glee Norris.

Nina Norris, 85 of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. formerly of the Fairplay Community of Adair County, KY passed away Sunday November 24, 2013 at her home in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11amCT, Hadley's Community Church, 8269 Fairplay Road, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Elbert Hadley the officiating clergy. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

She was born Saturday, January 21, 1928 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY. She was the daughter of the late William Henry and Mary Ellen Murley Capps. She died Sunday November 24, 2013 at her home in Ft. Walton Beach, Okaloosa County, Florida, at the age of 85 years, 10 months, and 3 days. She was the widow of Edward Glee Norris who died on April 27, 2005
