Raymond Hatter, age 77, of Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday November 17, 2013, at the Jean Waddle Care Center. He was born in Walltown, KY on December 4th, 1935 to the late William Terrill and Alva Brown Hatter.

Funeral Services will be held 12pmCT/1pmET, Wednesday November 20, 2013 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY. Burial will be in the K.P. Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pmCT/6pmET, Tuesday November 19, 2013 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.


Raymond Hatter, 77, Liberty, KY (1935-2013)


Raymond Hatter was born in Walltown, Casey County, KY on Wednesday, December 4, 1935. He was the son of the late William Terrill and Alva Brown Hatter. He died Sunday, November 17, 2013, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 77 years, 11 months, and 13 days.

He was Retired from the Liberty Sewer Treatment Plant and a member of the Casey County Masonic Lodge.

He was the widower of Madge Falconberry Hatter. Survivors include:
  • One daughter: Mona Sanders of Cincinnati, OH

  • One son: Kenny Hatter of Liberty, KY

  • Six Grandchildren

  • One great-grandchild

  • Five sisters: Wilma "Bunt" Floyd of Waynesburg, KY; Reba Phillippee and Diane Sims both of Walltown, KY; Kaye and Joan Spears both of Cincinnati, OH

  • and two brothers: Lynndale Hatter of Cincinnati, OH and James Arnold Hatter of Walltown, KY
Preceding him in death besides his wife and parents was a step mother: Pauline Wall Hatter, One Son: Bobby Gerald Hatter and One Brother: Carlos "John" Hatter.
