Dwayne Marting will direct combined Trinity United Methodist Church and Columbia Christian Choirs already committed to the event at the Adair Annex. Other choirs asked to join in.

By Charles Grimsley

This year will be the second annual addition to the Chamber of Commerce Christmas in Columbia Program. At 5:00pmCT, Saturday, December 7, 2013 , the Adair County Ministerial Association will be sponsoring "A Columbia Christmas Chorus" to help us ring in the holiday season with everyone and their family just before the Christmas parade starts at 6pmCT.

For all who want to sing Christmas carols just like when they were kids . . . . we invite every one to join in by singing the songs of the season on the Square at the Courthouse Annex starting at 4:30pmCT. Join along with the Trinity United Methodist and the Columbia Christian Church choirs under the direction of Dwayne Martin and others in celebration.

We also invite other churches throughout the county to join together as one large choir as everyone joins in with them singing by candlelight to celebrate Christmas. There will also be special music performed.

Other choirs wishing to join in will need to contact Charles Grimsley at 270-384-5658. Please take part in our a new tradition. - Charles Grimsley
