He was employed at Lebanon Cooperage as a barrel maker and loved skateboarding.

Marty Joshua Hammons, 21, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital due to an automobile accident.

The funeral services for Marty Joshua Hammons will be conducted at 1pmCT/2pmET, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. Bro. Blake Jessie will be officiating.



Pallbearers: William Allen Hammons, Hershell Fisher, Harley Fisher, Brandon Wilson, Jamie Caudill, Dalton Ripley, Justin Wilson, John Lee Wilson, and Warren Lacroix.

Marty Joshua Hammons was the son of William Allen & Shirley Hammons of Greensburg, KY, and Janice Marie Roos of Florence, KY. He was born on November 28, 1991 in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, and departed this life on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, Green County, KY, due to an automobile accident. He was 21 years, 11 months and 11 days of age.

He was employed at Lebanon Cooperage as a barrel maker and loved skateboarding.

Other survivors include:
  • Two brothers and two sisters: Warren Lacroix of Florence, KY; Erica Robinson of Florida; Sabrina Bowman and Robert Bowman both of West Virginia

  • His grandparents: Carol Marshall and Bill Hammons both of Greensburg, KY

  • Step grandmother: Barbara Brown of Ohio

  • Two aunts and a uncle: Carla Wilson of Campbellsville, KY; and Vickie Dyer, and John Lee Wilson both of Greensburg, KY

  • Cousins: Dalton Ripley of Richmond, KY; Harley Fisher, Hershell Fisher, Brandon Wilson, Justin Wilson, and Brooke Dyer all of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and many friends
