Lenore R. Hoover, 48, of Magnolia, KY, died Monday, November 11, 2013 at 1:54amCT. at her home.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, November13, 2013 at 3:30pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Cremation has been chosen as final disposition.

She was born May 19, 1965, in Valparaiso, Porter County, IN. She was the daughter of Neomma Kindler Vann and the late Delmar Smith. She died November 11, 2013, in Magnolia, KY, at the age of 48 years, 5 months, and 23 days.
BR> She was a truck driver.

She was preceded in death by her father, Delmar Smith, and a son, Matthew Johnston.

Survivors include:
  • Her husband: Rodney Hoover of Adair County. KY

  • Her mother: Neomma Kindler Vann of Magnolia, KY

  • One son: Wilbur Johnston of Mt. Sherman, KY

  • Three step-children: Angie, Roger & Brandon Hoover

  • Two foster children: Corey Sturgeon of Louisville & Megan Cornish of Mt. Sherman, KY

  • One brother: David Smith of Magnolia, KY

  • One sister: Yvonne Ortega of Westfield, IN

  • Two half-brothers: Tim Vann of Magnolia & Woody Vann of Indiana

  • Four half-sisters: Mary Jo Masminger of Ohio; Peggy Baker of Indiana; Patricia Burton of Magnolia, KY; and Barbara Faber of Indiana
  • Eight grandchildren and expecting the ninth
