Casey fire victim flown to UK Medical Center

Update: (Liberty, KY) - 49-year-old Debbie Cooper passed away early this morning as a result of her injuries. Detective Bradley Stotts is assisting with the Death Investigation.Cause of fire still under investigation - TFC Billy Gregory

LIBERTY, KY - The Kentucky State police are investigating a fire that occurred on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at approximately 5:00 CST. The fire occurred at 270 Napier St. in the limits of Liberty, KY

The homeowner & lone resident, 49-year-old Debbie Cooper, sustained injuries that required her to be flown to University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY where she remains in critical condition.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined but foul play is not suspected. Kentucky State Police Arson Detective Alex Wesley is investigating. - TFC Billy Gregory
