Lindsey Wilson Men's Basketball meets Taylor University tonight By Jay Nicols COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson College Men's Basketball meets Taylor University ) 6pmCT/7pmET, Friday, November 8, 2013 at Odle Arena, 900 E Hodson Drive, Upland, IN. The Blue Raiders (2-1, 0-0 MSC) are coming off a 41 point win over Mid-Continent (Mayfield, KY ) University on Tuesday night 99-58. Tony Horne had his second 24 point game of the season and is averaging 21-points per game this season. Daronte' Clark went 6-for-13 from three-point range as he was the second leading scorer on the team with 20 points. Tyrie Orosco added eight rebounds. Orosco leads the team with 25 rebounds in three games and averages just over eight per game. Keshaun Mayfield has 17 assists on the season while leading the team with six steals. As a team, Lindsey Wilson is averaging 93.3 points per game while shooting 55 percent from the field. The Blue Raiders have averaged 14 more rebounds per game than their opponent while turning the ball over three less times per game. Taylor (1-0, 0-0 CRL) opened its season with a 90-79 win over Siena Heights (Mich.) University on November 2. Jesse Coffey came off the bench to lead the Trojans with 26 points going 6-for-8 from beyond the three-point line. Three players had seven rebounds each while Jordan Richardson led the team with six assists. The Trojans are shooting 56 percent from the field while making 9-of-14 three-point shots in their first game of the season.
