ACSO responded to Houseboat Fire, Holmes Bend Boat Dock See also: Fire completely destroys houseboat at Holmes Bend Boat Marina with photo(s) On Monday, November 4, 2013 at around 7pmCT, Adair County Sheriff's office, Columbia, KY and the Adair County Fire Department responded to a houseboat on fire at Holmes Bend Boat Dock. Upon arrival, The houseboat with fully engulfed. The Fire Departement was able to remove the houseboat from the dock and was able to put the fire out. The houseboat belongs to Tony Loy of Columbia, KY. Two other houseboats sustained moderate to severe damages.
