Fire completely destroys houseboat at Holmes Bend Boat Marina

Houseboat owned by Tony Loy completely destroyed. Two other boats sustain damage.

The Adair County Fire Departmentt responded to a houseboat fire at the Holmes Bend Boat Marina at 7:06pmCT, on Monday night, November 4, 2013, to find a houseboat owned by Tony Loy of Columbia, KY, completely engulfed in fire.



The houseboat was a total loss.

Another houseboat sustained minor fire damage and another moderate damage.

There were 19 firemen on the scene for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. - Donald Hare
