COLUMBIA, KY - The No. 10 Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team earned its first win of the season Saturday night, defeating Ohio State-Mansfield 113-59.



Tyrie Orosco led the way for the Blue Raiders (1-1) recording a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds. Tony Horne added 15 points followed by Dusan Pantovic with 14.

Daronte' Clark and Simon Barres scored 13 points each while D'on Hall and Alex Giergen added 10 apiece. Clark also had seven rebounds.

Keshaun Mayfield led the team with nine assists on the night and pulled down seven rebounds.

The game was tied in the first half at nine before a basket by Orosco triggered a 15-0 run to push the lead to 24-9. The Blue Raiders led by as many as 27 in the first half and went into the locker room at halftime with a 57-31 lead.

Lindsey Wilson opened the second half on a 15-5 run to increase the lead to 35. The Blue Raiders pushed the lead to 100-to-47 on a 15-2 run late in the game.

Ohio State-Mansfield (0-2) was led by Jabree Lindsay with 21 points, followed by Delvonta Cheatham with 14 and Chris Simmons with 12.

Next:The Lindsey Wilson bench outscored the Ohio State-Mansfield bench by a score of 54-4.

The Blue Raiders shot 63 percent from the field including hitting nine three-pointers.

The Mavericks were 18-54 on field goals and shot 7-18 from beyond the arc.
