Charlie Reece, Adair County, KY (1952-20130

Mr. Reece was raised in Columbia, KY and was a 1970 graduate of Adair County High School. Mr. Reece retired from Ford Motor Company, was a 32nd degree mason, a member of the Fairdale Masonic Lodge #942, a founding member of the Bullitt County Masonic Lodge # 155 and a Kosair Shriner. He attended Little Flock Baptist Church.

Charlie Reece, age 61, of Shepherdsville, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father Saturday, October 26, 2013.

Funeral service will be held at 1pmCT/2pmET, Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Preston Highway at Brooks Road, with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, 1pm-7pmCT/2pm8pmETand on Thursday from 10amCT/11amET, until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.



Charlie Reece, Adair County, KY (1952-2013)


He was born January 24, 1952. He died October 26, 2013, at the age of 61 years, 9 months, and 2 days.

Mr. Reece was raised in Columbia, KY and was a 1970 graduate of Adair County High School. Mr. Reece retired from Ford Motor Company, was a 32nd degree mason, a member of the Fairdale Masonic Lodge #942, a founding member of the Bullitt County Masonic Lodge # 155 and a Kosair Shriner. He attended Little Flock Baptist Church. Among those who preceded him in death include, his father, Charles "Preston" Reece, Sr. and a brother Timothy L. Reece. He leaves to cherish is memory, his wife of 42 years, Rhonda Reece, and the following:
  • Children: Chuck Reece and Shannon Tipton (Ray)

  • Grandchildren: Tyler, Chase, Sadie and Sophie

  • Mother: Elizabeth (Noel) Harvey of Breeding, KY

  • Stepbrothers: Tony (Beverly) Harvey and Terry (Brenda) Harvey of Breeding, KY

  • Sister-in-law: Brenda Antle Reece of Jamestown, KY

  • And a host of other family and friends
