Jean L. Land of Liberty, KY passed away Sunday October 27, 2013 at the Russell County Hospital. She was 93.

Funeral services are 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Tuesday October 29, 2013 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Jim Brown officiating. Burial is at Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, October 28, 2013, 5pm-7pmCT/6pm-8pmET, at the funeral home.

Born June 28, 1920 in Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Amos and Louise Fletcher Hill. She died Sunday, October 27, 2013, in Russell Spring, Russell County, KY at the age of 93 years, 3 months, and 29 days.

She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Land, Sr. and a son, Marcus Kevin Land.

Survivors include the following:
  • Four sons: Carl Sandusky of Liberty, KY; Cliff Sandusky of Ohio; Marshall Land of Florida; and Marty Land of Dayton, KY

  • A daughter: Charlotta Davis of Arkansas

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Eight great-grandchildren

  • Two brothers: Bob Hill and James Hill both of Ohio

  • Two sisters: Nancy Brown and Gerri Gray of Ohio.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY in charge of arrangements.
