He was the son of the late William Deward & Ora Esther Perkins Rucker. His wife, Anita Ellison of Liberty, KY survives. He leaves 30 direct and 12 step living descendants. Interment will be in Tabernacle Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3pmCT, Friday, October 25, 2013. Pallbearers: Roger Rucker, Brad Rucker, Richard Murrell, Randal Murrell, Earl Lane Judd, Don Landis, Andy Rucker and Jeremiah King. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Renee Rucker; a grandson, Roger Allen Rucker, Jr.; and one brother, Gary Rucker.
