Jerry L. Kemp, 61, Reese Spur Road, Russell Springs, KY, died at 5:45amCT, Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at his home in Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral services will be at Calvary Baptist Church, 197 S 9th Street, Noblesville, IN, at 2pmCT/3pmET, Friday, October 25, 2013, with Bro. Phillip Miller officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Noblesville, IN. Visitation will be at 5pmCT/6pmET, Thursday, October 24, 2013, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY.

He was born Wednesday, November 7, 1951, in Noblesville, Hamilton County, IN. He was the son of the late Roscoe Kemp and the late Dorothy (Coverdale) Kemp. He died Wednesday, October 23, 2013, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 61 years, 11 months, and 16 days.

H He was a janitor.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Kay Clarkson Kemp, and the following:
  • One son: Lucas Kemp, Noblesville, IN

  • Four daughters: Sarah Schaffer, Sweden, IN; Nikki Bray, Noblesville, IN; Diady Godsey, Delford, IN; Amy Harrod, Indiana

  • Two brothers: Ervin Kemp, Jamestown, KY; and Phillip McNutt, Greenville, TN

  • One brother-in-law: Timothy Clarkson

  • One sister: Kathy Endicott, Noblesville, IN

  • Fifteen grandchildren

  • One step son
He was preceded in death by one brother, Horace Kemp.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
