Charles (Chuck) Rose, Cumberland Co., KY (1964-2013)

he was a native of Cumberland County, KY and lived much of his life in Shepherdsville, KY, graduating from North Bullitt High School in 1982. He worked at many grocery stores in the Louisville, KY area including Kroger, Winn Dixie, and Houchens, before moving back to Burkesville, KY where he enjoyed the last several years of his life. His sweet smile and generous spirit will also be missed by a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends

Charles "Chuck" Rose, age 49 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013 in Barren Co., KY as the result of an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in the Scott Family Cemetery. The family requests visitation 2pm-9pmCT/3pm-10pmET, Monday, October 21, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.



Charles (Chuck) Rose, Cumberland Co., KY (1964-2013)

Chuck was born on Monday,January 27, 1964 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of Estaline Dane Long Rose and the late Charles Russell Rose. He died Saturday, October 19, 2013 in Barren Co., KY, at the age of 49 years, 8 months, and 23 days.

He lived much of his life in Shepherdsville, KY, graduating from North Bullitt High School in 1982. He worked at many grocery stores in the Louisville, KY area including Kroger, Winn Dixie, and Houchens, before moving back to Burkesville, KY where he enjoyed the last several years of his life.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alex and Opal Rose, and Eular and Nannie Long. Survivors include the following:
  • His mother: Estaline Dane Rose of Burkesville, KY

  • Three sisters:Teresa Rose and Susan Rose both of Shepherdsville, KY, and Lori Spears and her husband Robert of Burkesville, KY

  • Nieces and nephews: Leanna Rose Valla, Kurtis Austin Spears, Rylea Beth Spears, Sean-Eric Spears, Aaron Pugh, Kayla Pugh

  • A host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends
