Halloween will add Storybook Castle in the Historic Courthouse Venue changed to Jim Blair Center Treats on Town, Storybook Castle will be at Jim Blair Center, 901 Hudson ST, Columbia, KY Venue Changed from outside/downtown TO JIM BLAIR CENTER, because of impending bad weather. Treats on the Town, already an immensely popular Festival (Billy Pickett estimates over 1,600 came by for Free C/AC Jaycees Cotton Candy, alone), will be even bigger with Storybook Castle. By Debbie Selby from Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce, edited for CM Storybook Castle in the Historic Adair County Courthouse at 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY, will be the centerpiece of this years C/AC Chamber promoted Treats on the Town, 4pm-7pmCT, Thursday, October 31, 2013. The events are intended to provide a fun and safe Halloween for all the children of Adair County. Everyone is welcome to set up around the Square, including businesses, churches, civic groups, elected officials, families, and individuals. young or old.... Eveyone is encouraged to dress in costume, set up and decorate a treats table or car trunk hand out individually wrapped treats to the kids. Traffic around the square will be closed.
