I, too. have many happy remembrances of "eatin' out" at Coomers Restaurant. My favorite was the hot roast beef & mashed potatoes, yum, yum. In my mind's eye, I can still see my dad & I sitting at the counter, visiting with the wait staff, & enjoying our meal. It seems that the older we get the more the good memories of past years flood our minds of a much quieter, more simple time. - Richard Shepherd
