LWC Soccer/Women travels to Auburn University Montgomery By Jay R. Nicols News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - No. 2 Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team travels to No. 24 Auburn (Ala.) University-Montgomery on Saturday, October 12, 2013, for a 3pmCT kickoff. The Blue Raiders (10-2, 5-0 MSC) have won their last three games by a combined score of 35-2 as they face a newly minted top-25 team in Auburn Montgomery. The Warhawks are 4-0 at home this season while Lindsey Wilson is 4-0 on the road. Lindsey Wilson is lead by Ayaki Shinada who has a team high 12 goals and 13 assists in 12 games. Natasha Gensetter and Jamie Stanton both have seven goals to rank second on the team. Shinada ranks fourth in the NAIA with 13 assists and sixth in total points with 37. The Blue Raiders rank third in the NAIA in total goals with 63 and goals per game with 5.25. The Warhawks top two goal scorers are Eyrun Rakel Agnarsdottir and Dagmar Gunnarsdottir who have collected six goals apiece. Maria Ros Arngrimsdottir and Alexandra Sveinsdottir lead the team with three assists each. Holly Clark has started seven games in net and yielded five goals while saving 23 shots.
