Expect lots of candidates today at Downtown Days

There should be a large number of candidates and dignitaries present for the big Downtown Days festival today. Brief listings for candidates who will be at the festival will be added as received during the day.

Among those we've received notice of are:
State Senator Sara Beth Gregory, (KY 52) a candidate for re-election for the district including Adair, Clinton, Cumberland, McCreary, and Russell, and Taylor Counties , said in a telephone conversation that she will be here during the day, but did not specify a time.
Matt Bivan, candidate for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senator, from 1-4pmCT, spending some time at the County Republican booth, according to Bivan volunteer Jeff Buis.
Candidates for all offices, and spokespersons for dignitaries are welcome to submit additional paragraphs to be added as time available to post. Sorry, we may be able to post only if candidates or representatives notify us. - CM
