Doris Conover, 59, of Russell Springs, KY formerly of Columbia, KY, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Norton-Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY. Funeral service will be Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 2pmCT/3pmET, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ralph Foster officiating. Burial in Bennett Cemetery, 4650 Pelham Branch Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 10amCT/11amET, Sunday, October 13, 2013. Visitation after 10amCT/11amET, Sunday at the funeral home.



Casket Bearers: Tommy Conover, Johnny Melson, Woodrow Franklin, Jerry Stephens, Tyler Melson & Justin Gabehart.

She was born December 18, 1953, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Arvin & Emma Murrell Conover. She died Wednesday, October 9, 2013, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 59 years, 9 months, and 22 days.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors Include:
  • Two brothers: James Conover of Indianapolis, IN and Roy Conover of Florence, KY.

  • Two sisters: Barbara York and Geneva Melson both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews also survive.
