Four LWC tennis players to compete at ITA National tournament Four LWC Tennis Players, Fernando Bogajo, Francisco Charters, Jessica King and Alicia Rodriguez, travel to ITA National Small College Championships (Ft. Myers, FL) Thursday thru Sunday, October 10-13, 2013, starting at 8:15amCT/9:15amET on Thursday at Three Oaks Tennis Center, 18251 3 Oaks Parkway, Fort Myers, FL By Jay R. Nicols News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson's tennis players Fernando Bogajo, Francisco Charters, Jessica King and Alicia Rodriguez along with head coach Sachin Kirtane are headed to the 2013 Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Small College Championships October 10-13, 2013, in Ft. Myers, FL. Bogajo is the No. 2 seed in the men's single championships and plays the winner of the play-in match between Westmont (CA) College's Tim Goranson or Auburn (AL) University-Montogmery's Nicolas Pinones-Haltenhoff at 8:30amCT on Thursday morning at the Three Oaks Tennis Center. In addition to his singles match, Bogajo and his doubles partner Charters made it into the doubles championships as the No. 1 seed after winning their regional tournament at Georgetown, KY. They will face the doubles team of Daniel Rueda and Ronnie Myburgh of University of Northwestern Ohio. The time for this match has not been announced. The women's team is represented by King and Rodriguez who will face the No. 4 seed Maria Barragan and Daniela Arcila in the doubles field at the national championships. Their match is set to start at 12:15pmCT on Thursday afternoon. The winners of the small college national championships will face the other divisional winners will compete on Sunday to determine the "Super Bowl" winner. The "Super Bowl" winner will head to the USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships with a chance to win the culminating event held at the USTA-Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
