COLUMBIA, KY - More than 30 cyclists from around the country rode through Columbia-Adair County on Sunday, October 6, 2013. The cyclists were part of the 10th-annual Governor's Autumn Bike Ride Across Kentucky.

The four-day, 250-mile ride began Thursday at General Butler State Park and concluded Sunday at Dale Hollow State Park. More than 60 cyclists from a dozen states began the ride, and by Sunday morning more than half remained on the course.

On Sunday morning, the remaining GABRAKY cyclists stopped for brunch at the Lindsey Wilson Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center and then toured the E. Fay Jones-designed John B. Begley Chapel. The group was assisted in Adair County by members of the Columbia Rotary Club, including Gerald and Natasha Holt, both of Columbia.

Lindsey Wilson is one of the ride's sponsors, and LWC Dean of Student Chris Schmidt helped organize the event, which raises money for the Grand Theatre of Frankfort and Walk/Bike Frankfort, a group that helps build bicycle-pedestrian paths in the capital city. - Duane Bonifer, Lindsey Wilson College
