Lindsey Wilson Men's Soccer Hosts Cumberlands on Friday By Pierce Yarberry COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's soccer team hosts the University of the Cumberlands (KY) Friday for a 7pmCT/6 pmET Mid-South Conference contest at Walter S. Reuling Stadium, 151 North Blue Raider Drive, Columbia, KY. The No. 1 Blue Raiders (7-1-2, 3-0-1) defeated St. Catharine (KY) 10-0 on Tuesday and sit atop the NAIA Coaches' Poll for the first time this season. It is Lindsey Wilson's 45th all-time top-ranking and 75th consecutive top-25 ranking. Yazeed Davids leads Lindsey Wilson with six goals, followed by Elijah Ukpong and Xavier Baumgart, who each have four. Keeper Yuta Nomura has made 14 saves in eight games played, allowing five goals for a .850 goals against average and three shutouts. Lindsey Wilson is ranked seventh in total shutouts (5), 12th in shutouts per game (.500), 13th in both shots per game (19.8) and total goals (33), and 15th in goals per game (3.30). The Patriots (4-3-1, 4-0) are coming off a 2-1 win over Cumberland (Tenn.) and are led by Pedro Antonelli and Ariel Castanon with four goals each. Felipe Lima has 27 saves in six games for Cumberlands, allowing 11 goals for a 1.96 goals against average. The Blue Raiders lead the all-time series 27-0-2.
