Marlene Hamby recalls her son's 'special friend'

Comments re photo 51656 Bunny is getting pretty fragile after year of hard use

By Marlene Hamby That's really precious and brings back some pretty special memories of my own children at that age.

The only way I could keep my son's "special friend' intact and clean was to wait until he went to sleep at night. Then I'd carefully remove his little buddy from his clutches, mend all the well-worn tears, replace any missing stuffing, and then throw it into the washer and dryer.

After he was all repaired and cleaned, I would place him back into my little boy's arms once again!

Sometimes timing is everything.

Enjoy this moment while it's here. Tillie will replace Bunny all too soon. - Marlene Hamby
