Judge Tapp signs agreed order imposing Adair Co. Hospital Tax

Agreed order imposes a rate of not lless than $0.10 on each $100 of taxable properties. Not recallable. Tax will be collected this year. PVA office will prepare, and Adair County Sheriff will mail a second bill covering only the Hospital Tax.

Special Circuit Judge David Tapp has entered an agreed order which will impose a rate of not less than $0.10 per $100 of valuation on all taxable property in Adair County, KY, as of January 1, 2013, which will be paid to the Adair County Hospital District

The order was entered this morning, October 3, 2013, in the office of Adair County Court Clerk Dennis Loy.

Judge Tapp ordered that the tax be collected on the tax bills to be distributed to the citizens of Adair County in the fall of 2013.

The order also stipulates that the ematter is not subject to the recall provisions of KRS 132.017.

The order was signed by Hon. David A. Tapp, Special Judge, Adair Circuit Court; Elmer J. George, Counsel for the Adair County Hospital District; and George D. Smith and Gwen R. Pinson, Stoll Keenon Ogden, PLLC Lexington; and Mark S. Franklin of the firm's Louisville office, counsel for Farmers National Bank of Danville.
