Two injured in 8:30amET collision in Campbellsville, KY today

The Campbellsville Police Department investigated an injury traffic collision on US 68, today, Wednesday September 25, 2013

At approximately 8:30amET, the Campbellsville Police Department received a report of a two vehicle collision at the intersection of US 68 and KY 658. Officers responded to investigate.



Investigation into the collision determined a vehicle operated by Kimberly Lobb, 49 years of age; Greensburg, KY was travelling east on US 68 (Broadway). A second vehicle operated by Stephen K. Milby, age 31, of Campbellsville, kY, was travelling north on KY 658 (Roberts Road).

According to witnesses at the scene, the traffic control signal for US 68 was RED. The traffic signal for KY 658 was GREEN. Milby was travelling from KY 658 across US 68 onto Cherokee Drive when the vehicle operated by Lobb proceeded east on US 68 and struck the Milby vehicle.

Milby and a passenger, Archie Nunn, age 60, were transported to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment of suspected injuries.

The collision remains under investigation by Officer Ryan Jewell. - Anne Sanders
