The Blue Raiders moved eight spots from No. 24 to No 16 this week following last week's 35-26 win over then-No. 25 University of Pikeville (KY). The win moves Lindsey Wilson to 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in the Mid-South Conference East Division. Not only is the No. 16 ranking the highest in the program history, but this week marks the first time that Lindsey Wilson has been ranked in back-to-back weeks. Lindsey Wilson received 122 voting points from the panel of head coaches that makes up the national raters. University of the Cumberlands (KY) and Georgetown (KY) College also reside in the poll. Cumberlands is No. 4 while Georgetown is No. 6. Faulkner (AL) University and Pikeville each slipped from out of the top 25 following losses last week, but continue to receive votes in the poll. Morningside (Iowa) College remains atop the national poll with 314 voting points, including all 14 first-place votes. University of Saint Francis (IN) is No. 2 with 302 voting points followed by Carroll (MT) College with 281 voting points.
