Barbara Armitage has banana trees that stay out over winter Maury Lewis writes: There is a banana tree you can grow here that does not have to be taken in the house in the winter. Barbara Armitage has several growing in her yard. I don't know if they produce or not; I have not seen any fruit on them but they get to be very large trees and they are pretty. She has been known to separate them and give some away. - Maury LewisComments re photo 51440 Scenic Subtropical Taylor Co KY A friend has gone bananas This story was posted on 2013-09-22 14:20:32
