Agrees on need for improvements in Downtown Columbia Marsha Walker writes: I agree the city needs improvements in the downtown area. Just pretend you are a first time visitor. Take a close look at each building around the square and two or three blocks out each exit street. Some look great, but it's a real shame we have to view the others every time we pass through town. It will not be an easy task, but I hope needed changes will be made in the near future. Our city would be much more appealing to residents and visitors alike. The appearance of the downtown area speaks volumes about our community pride. - Marsha WalkerComments re article 62020 Doug Beard Agrees Columbia needs to focus on downtown This story was posted on 2013-09-19 01:12:50
