He delivered respiratory equipment for SCM Medical in Louisville, KY. He coached the Doss Dragons Youth Football League in Louisville, KY.

Jamaal Elliott Wood departed this life Monday, September 9, 2013 in Shelby County, KY,

Services will be at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, at 1pmCT/2pmET, Friday, September 13, 2013 with Rev. James Jackson and Rev. Matt Smyzer, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Old Community Cemetery in Greensburg, KY. Visitation will 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Thursday, September 12, and will be after 7amCT, Friday, September 13, 2012.



Pallbearers: Bryan Sebastian, Tyron Miller, Ivan Embry, Tommy Bishop, Robert Maddox Robert Hutchinson, John Cash, andDrew Bryant.

Honorary Pallbearers: SCM Medical Employees.

Jamaal Elliott Wood was born Thursday, April 10, 1980 in Green County, KY to Michael Wood and Mary Sebastian Wood. He departed this life Monday, September 9, 2013 in Shelby County, KY, having attained the age of 33 years, 4 months and 29 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the 2nd Baptist Church, Greensburg, KY. He delivered respiratory equipment for SCM Medical in Louisville. He coached the Doss Dragons Youth Football League in Louisville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather: John Henry Sebastian

He is survived by his parents Michael and Mary Sebastian Wood of Greensburg, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons and one daughter: Kobie and Brooks Wood of Greensburg, KY; and Skylar Wood of Louisville, KY

  • His grandparents: U.J. and Addie Wood of Greensburg, KY; and Mary Catherine Sebastian of Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother: Tobey Wood of Greensburg, KY

  • One sister: Faun Crenshaw of Campbellsville, KY

  • His fiancee: Jessica and three step children: Ashley, Brandon and Caleb

  • Aunts: Barbara Sebastian and Vicki (Eddie) Hazelwood of Campbellsville, KY; Sharon Sebastian of Aurora, IL; Janie Duncan of Munfordville, KY; and Jacqueline Wood of Grand Prairie, TX

  • Uncle: Tyler Wood of Grand Prairie, TX

  • One niece

  • Plus a host of cousins and friends.

  • The family has requested that donations be made to the Doss Dragons Youth Football League or the Kobie and Brooks Wood Trust Fund. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.
