Mrs. Delia Francis Melton Perkins, age 95, of Summer Shade, KY, formerly of Cumberland County, KY, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY. Funeral services for Delia Francis Melton Perkins were conducted on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 2pmCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with burial in The Bow School House Cemetery.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her sons: Glen Perkins of Summer Shade, KY, and James Perkins of Louisville, KY

  • Her daughter: Joyce Sells of Burkesville, KY

  • Her brothers: Lloyd Melton of Mitchell, IN; and Billy Melton of Louisville, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Nine great-grandchildren

  • Several great-great-grandchildren
