Jack Crabtree, age 73 of the Adair County Community, Columbia, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, September. 7, 2013, at 9:30amCT, at his home after an illness.

Visitation will be 3:30pm-7pmCT, Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Bro. David Coffey will have remarks at 6pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY.



Jack Crabtree, Adair County, KY (1940-2013)

He was born Wednesday, March 20, 1940, in McCreary County, KY, the son of the late James Paul & Marie Hatfield Crabtree of Stearns, Kentucky. He died Saturday, September 7, 2013, at the age of 73 years, 5 months, and 18 days.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Kelly Ann Wagler of Katy, Texas and Jacqueline (Jackie) J. Bradford & her husband Rick of Brownsburg, IN

  • Grandchildren: Abigail Jean Wagler, Olivia Rose Wagler and Benson Lukow (Luke) Bradford

  • Step-sons: Craig S. Benson and Jeff A. Benson

  • Two sisters: June Herald of Indianapolis, Indiana and Brenda Baty of Burnside, KY

  • One brother: Donald (Donny) R. Crabtree of Bismark, AR

  • Several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by brothers Roger A. Crabtree, James (Jimmy) P. Crabtree, Jr., and Coy Lee Crabtree.

He served his country in the U. S. Army and was a Union Carpenter.
