She died Thursday, September 5, 2013, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 88 years, 2 months, and 29 days. She was a member of Big Sandy Holiness Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James William Helm; three brothers, William Hosley, Thomas Hosley, and Lee Hosley; and four sisters, Kate Baker, Nannie Owsley, Francis Hosley, and Nettie Dee Alexander.
