School District gives surplus refrigerator to Westlake "Our organizations serve the same community and I think I can speak for the entire board when I say we are honored to lend a helping hand." - Supt. Reed Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Shamarie Claiborne, Media Publicity Coordinator News from the Adair County School District The Adair County Board of Education voted unanimously this morning to donate a surplus three door refrigerator to Westlake Regional Hospital during a Special Called Meeting. Board members in attendance were Greg Willis (Div 1), Joe Payne (Div 3), Mike Harris (Div 5), and Floyd Burton (Div 4). Also present were Superintendant Alan Reed, Westlake Board Member Neal Gold, and Westlake Food Services Director Crystal Burton. The motion was created by Board Member Greg Willis and seconded by Joe Payne. Surplus lockers donated to State Highway Road Department The group also voted unanimously to donate surplus lockers to the State Highway Road Department. Board Member Joe Payne created the motion with Greg Willis seconding. The surplus items being donated are from the two schools that have just been replaced by Adair County Primary Center and reconfiguration.
