Funeral services are Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 6pmCT/7pmET, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY Family requests visitation 4pmCT/5pmET, on Saturday, September 07, 2013 until service time at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville. Cremation will follow the service.

Joey Curtis age 51 of Palm Coast, Florida passed away on Sunday, September 01, 2013 at his home. Joey was born on Thursday, May 03, 1962 in Warren County, KY. He was the son of Louise Myers Curtis and Joe Howard Curtis. He died Sunday, September 01, 2013 in Palm Coast, Flagler County, FL, at the age of 51 years, 3 months, 29 days.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Angela Denise Short Curtis.

Survivors include the following:
  • His wife: Alexandra Curtis of Palm Coast, Florida

  • His parents: Joe Howard Curtis and Louise Curtis of Burkesville, KY

  • One son: Anthony Kyle Curtis of Moss, TN

  • One daughter: Mary Jo Curtis Brown of Hendersonville, TN

  • One brother: Bill Curtis and his wife Darla Watson Curtis of Burkesville, KY

  • One stepson: Nick Anane of Palm Coast, Florida

  • One step-daughter: Virginia O'Brien of Washington, DC

  • Two uncles: Troy Myers of Donaldson, TN and Gale Myers of Winchester, IN

  • Two nieces: Neeley Curtis of Burkesville, KY and Andie Thacker of Taylorsville, KY

  • One nephew: Frazier Curtis of Burkesville, KY

  • Special cousin: Kathy Curtis of DeBary, Florida

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
