Terry Pyles, formerly of Adair Co., KY (1955-2013)

He was the son of the late Alvie Kennith & Eula Mae Grant Pyles of Adair County, KY a member of a large, respected Adair County, Kentucky family with strong roots in Adair, Green and Taylor Counties and elsewhere in Kentucky and out of state. He was a truck driver

Terry Pyles age 58 years of Tyler, Texas, formerly of Columbia, Ky. passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013 in Tyler, Texas.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.



Terry Pyles, formerly of Adair Co., KY (1955-2013)

He was born on Thursday, April 28, 1955. He was the son of the late Alvie Kennith & Eula Mae Grant Pyles of Adair County, KY. He died Wednesday, August 28, 2013, in Tyler, Smith County, Texas, at the age of 58 years, 4 months.

He was preceded in death by three sisters a one brother Bernadine Drake, Cindy Rowe, Katie Pyles, and Lyndall Pyles.

He is survived by the following:
  • One brother: Jeffrey Pyles of Greensburg, KY

  • Four sisters: Rita Smith and Barbara Flatt of Columbia, KY; Betty Kearney of Campbellsville, KY, and Patricia Wong of California.

  • Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
Terry was a truck driver
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, in charge of arrangements.
