Mary Elizabeth Bryant age 78 of Edmonton died Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET, Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Butler Funeral Home, 367 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Cedar Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Monday, September 2, 2013, and after 9amCT/10amET, Tuesday at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late Will Ed and Virgie Bryant Smith. She was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Connie Bryant and Elizabeth "Liz" Scott both of Edmonton, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Twenty-one great grandchildren

  • And several step grandchildren
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Rucien Bryant; two daughters, Cathy Freeman and Barbara Miller, a grandson, Riley Ray Bryant; one brother, Tom Smith; a sister, Louise Smith; five half brothers, and one half sister.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
