Russell Co. claims Clifton Aaron; he will be missed, remembered Mary writes: Sorry to tell you that Russell County claims Clifton as its own. He lived here during his early years, probably his birthplace. He was as popular here as he was in Taylor county. His family lived at the intersection of Hwy 55 and 379 in the southern part of the county, if I recall correctly his father may have had a general store on the corner of the intersection. His wife, Peggy is from the same area. Clifton was always a generous and kind individual, as was his family.
