Chamber urges member participation in Wreath Contest Winner will be announced at the Chamber's Annual Picnic in the Park. Public invited to register at participating businesses to be eligible to win a Grand Prize to be Donated by the Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce Debbie Selby The Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce will have a wreath decorating contest as part of the Annual Picnic in the Park, at the Roadside Park, 2310 Hwy 55 South RD, Columbia, KY, Tuesday, September 17, 2013, starting at 6pmCT. Businesses wishing to participate in the contest should contact The Chamber of Commerce at 270- 384-6020 or Debbie Selby at 270-384-6433 to register. The contest is open to businesses which are members of the Chamber. There is no charge to participate, but businesses will furnish supplies needed to create the wreaths. The wreaths can be themed for any season. Participating businesses are asked to have wreaths on display Tuesday, September 3, 2013. People asked to go by the businesses and observe the entries at which time they may register for a grand prize drawing, with the prized furnished by the Chamber, will to held during the annual Picnic In The Park on September 17, 2013. Businesses may advertise the contest through any media, but no single media is specifically authorized by the Chamber to solicit advertising for this event. The wreaths will also be auctioned the night of the picnic, with all proceeds going to the Chamber. The picnic will be hosted by the Bank of Columbia.
