Book Review: Pellyton & Barnetts Creek Veterans Click on headline for complete review with photo(s) By Ed Waggener Mary Ann Dean Blair, as most people at Barnett's Creek and the Pellyton Area know, has a popular book, "Pellyton & Barnett's Creek Veterans/Those who served with Honor, Sacrifice & Dignity," which was published in November 2011. She gave a copy of the book to me to give to the Adair County Public Library on my next stop by there. It is 22 pages of must read material for those with libraries of Veteran's Materials, Pellyton history, and Adair County History. Most of the veterans included in the booklet have accompanying photographs, and many have very extensive biographical material. Included are entries on - Charles Garnet Austin, Dallas A. Badger.
