Youth Soccer League signups underway

From Mitch McKay

The Men's Soccer team at Lindsey Wilson is entering into its second year running the Adair County Youth Soccer League. Their goal is to help boys and girls stay active and participate in sports in a fun, positive, and safe environment.

The ACYSL has partnered with Columbia Christian Church to use their park for practices during the week. Games will be played at the Lindsey Wilson soccer stadium.

Age groups are 5-7, 7-9, and 10-13. Each team will be coached by a Lindsey Wilson player and have a parent team manager. Registration is $65, and players will receive a uniform on the first match day and a participation medal at the season's end. The league runs for 7 weeks, from September 3, 2013 to October 19, 2013, with one practice and one match per week.

For more information, or to request a registration form, contact Mitch McKay at Lindsey Wilson College, 210 Lindsey Wilson Street, Columbia, KY 42728. Telephone: 989-445-0669, Fax: 270-384-8692 or by email at mckaym@lindsey.edu.
