Wendell G. Polston, 69, of Russell Springs, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at his home. .

Funeral service for Wendell G. Polston will be 1 PM. Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Bobby Conner and Bro. Billy Silverman officiating. Friends may call after 5pmCT, Friday, August 16, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial in the Square Oak Cemetery.

He was born Sunday, April 30, 1944 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Orvin and Ovaline Foster Polston. He died Wednesday, August 14, 2013, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 69 years, 3 months, and 14 days.

He was a farmer

Preceded in death by a son, Greg Polston Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Daniel Polston, and the following:
  • Three children: Lisa (Mark) Blakeman, Douglas (Holly) Polston Scott (Patricia) Polston, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Fourteen grandchildren

  • Five great grandchildren

  • One sister: Verlene (Garnett) McBeath, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two brothers: Bobby (Ella Fern) Polston, Russell Springs, KY; and Randall (Lynn) Polston, Russell Springs, KY
Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
