Last night, Saturday, August 2, 2013, Suzanne and I were able to attend the War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville to see Jason Bonham, (son of legendary drummer John "Bonzo" Bonham); Bonzo was the drummer for Led Zeppelin and after he died from alcohol poisoning, the days of Led Zeppelin were finished!

Celebration Day was recorded 5 years ago in England, and featured Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page (who resides in Allister Crowley's castle in England), and Jason Bonham. This was the only time the entire band reunited since Bonzo died.

Jason is touring alone and with Heart, and performing his rendition of Zeppelin classics. The singer for Jason's band is James Dylan, who is originally from Madison, WI. At the suggestion of James' wife, he uploaded some of his videos to YouTube of him singing Zeppelin songs, some of the original members saw this and recommended him to Jason.

I must say that after the 1st song, we were blown away at how talented James sounded. I think he is better as Robert Plant than Robert Plant is. Videos from Jason Bonham and from James Dylan are on YouTube.

After the show, I had the opportunity to interview the band members and to take a few photos with them before each of them departed to go home for 10 days vacation, before resuming the tour in Texas with Ann & Nancy Wilson of Heart. I hope you enjoy my pictures and a little insight into arguably the best Rock & Roll Band of all-time... - Big Al
