Janet Michelle Minton, 49, of Windsor, KY, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

Funeral services for Janet Michelle Minton will be at noon, 12pmCT/1pmET, Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Rev. Richard Morgan officiating. Friends may call after 4pmCT/5pmET Sunday, August 4, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial in the Jennies Chapel Cemetery in Casey County, KY.

She was the daughter of Vivian Imogene Wilson Minton and the late Stanley Floyd Minton. She was born Tuesday, September 17,1963. She died Friday, August 2, 2013, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 49 years, 9 months, and 15 days.


She was a Loan Processor at First National Bank in Russell Springs and was a member of the Jamestown Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include the following:
  • Her mother: Vivian Imogene Minton, Windsor, KY

  • Her sister: Judy Minton, Windsor, KY
The family requests memorials to American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 1500 College Way, Lexington, Ky 40502. These can be made at the funeral home.
