Fog is a Factor: So far- 2 days. 2 fogs. 2 snows for winter The National Weather Service is giving a "fog/mist" now, but it's somewhat of an understatement, Larry Smith, FM 92.7 called to report. "It's thick as brick this morning." He said. "Visibility is less than a mile anywhere between my house in Campbellsville and the drive here at the WAVE studio on KY 80." "Count them. So far, 2 days in August. 2 Fogs in August. And that means 2 big snows in winter, according to the old timers. If it keeps this up, we're going to have a hard, coldy snowy winter," he said. "Tell everybody reading ColumbiaMagazine this morning to please drive carefully." This story was posted on 2013-08-02 05:22:26
