Marilyn Eason, 52, of Columbia, KY, died Friday, July 26, 2013 in Columbia, KY.

Her sister, Gail "Peaches" Gaskin died on the same day.

Joint funeral service for Marilyn & Gail will be Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 8pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Bill Henson officiating. Visitation is after 4pmCT, Tuesday. Cremation has been chosen for final disposition.

She was born October 11, 1960, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY. She died Friday, July 26, 2013, in Columbia, KY at the age of 52 years, 9 months, and 15 days.

She was manager for Little Caesar's Pizza when in Columbia and had worked at Cox Interior in Campbellsville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Wilson Houk on June 26, 2013.

Survivors include:
  • Her father: Wendell Houk of Columbia, KY

  • Two sons: Jonathan Shemwell & Harold Michael Shemwell, Jr., both of Russell Springs, KY

  • One sister: Marsha M. Clark of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Glenn Allen Yates of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Dylan, Devon & Autumn Shemwell
