Lonnie Wayne Harper age 61 of Glasgow, KY passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Russellville, KY. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Page Cemetery in Monroe County, KY. The family requests visitation on 2pm-9pmCT/3pm-10pmET, Tuesday, July 9, 2013at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.

He was born on Wednesday, November 17, 1951 in Monroe County, KY. He was the late Venice "Buck" Harper and Ethel (Vibbert) Harper. He died Saturday, July 6, 2013, in Russellville, Logan County, KY, at the age of 61 years, 7 months, and 19 days.

He was a retired employee of E.R. Carpenter Company in Russellville, KY.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, June Henson and Brenda Lambert, and one brother, Raymond Harper. Survivors include the following:
  • Two daughters: Crystal Harper of Glasgow, KY and Miranda Harper of Auburn, KY

  • Three sons: Lonnie Wayne Harper, Jr. of Munfordville, KY, Jeffrey Harper of Albany, KY, and Timothy Wayne Harper of Auburn, KY

  • One brother: Randall Harper of Edmonton, KY

  • Two sisters: Juanita Bumpus of Edmonton, KY and Joyce Mills of Celina, TN

  • Seven grandchildren

  • and a host of other relatives and friends also survive
