His wife of 38 years, Carolyn Marlene Shaw, survives. He leaves three direct living descendants. He was a member of Burge Terrace Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Friday, July 5, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET,.at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Burkesville, KY with Bro. Larry Miller officiating. Burial will be in Marrowbone Cemetery. The family requests visitation from 9amCT/10amET until service time at 1pmCT/2pmET, on Friday, July 5, 2013 at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Rick Newland, Joshua Ballard, Bill Anderson, Jason Anderson, Zack Waldrop, and Tim Barnett Jimmy E. Ballard, Cumberland Co. KY (1940-2013) He was born on Thursday, October 24, 1940 in Glasgow, Barren County, KY. He was the son of the late Hulen and Mary Clyde Anderson Ballard. He died Monday, July 1, 2013, in Indianapolis, Marion County, IN, at the age of 72 years, 8 months, and 8 days. He married Carolyn Marlene Shaw on May 17, 1975. He retired from General Motors after 46 years of service as a Tool and Die Maker. Jimmy was a member of Burge Terrace Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Ballard, and two sisters, Runell Dubree, and Brenda Ballard. Survivors include:
