Free GED classes beginning July 15, 2013 By LeAnna Bennett The Adair County Adult Education Center, 108 Lindsey Wilson Street, Columbia, KY, will be offering free GED classes. The classes will be offered in 3 sessions: Session 1 will be 8am-12pm noon CT, Session 2 will be 1pm-5pmCT, and Session 3 will be 5:30-8pmCT. Students can select which session they wish to attend or a combination of any session. The classes will be set up on 7 weeks course for the day classes and a 14 weeks course for the evening classes. At the end of the class students will take the actual GED test. Deadline for registration will be July 9, 2013 and orientation will be on July 11, 2013. Anyone interested in registering for these classes can call the center at 270-384-7475. A reminder: The GED test is changing effective January 2014.
