Nelson County High School and Burgin Independent before retiring in 1987. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and the Daughters of the American Revolution as well as a long time member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Danville, KY

Enola Belle Foley Arms passed away peacefully in her home June 26, 2013, surrounded by family.

Funeral service for Enola Belle Arms will be at 11amCT/12pmET, Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Dr. Gerald Shepard officiating. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the First Christian Church in Danville, Ky. A second visitation will take place 9am-11amCT/10am-12pmET, Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Bernard Funeral Home 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY.Burial in the Russell Springs City Cemetery.

Enola was the daughter of the late Elvin Ray and Flora Etta Foley of Russell Springs, KY. She was born Monday, July 18, 1927. She died June 26, 2013, at the age of 86 years, 11 months, and 8 days.

She was a member of the Russell Springs High School class of 1945 and the Berea College class of 1949. Enola taught at Barbourville High School, Russell County High School. Nelson County High School and Burgin Independent before retiring in 1987. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and the Daughters of the American Revolution as well as a long time member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Danville, KY.

She is survived by her husband, Fred S. Arms and the following:
  • Two children: Eric Arms of Lexington, KY; and Laura Craven (Jason) pf Danville, KY

  • Six grandchildren

  • One great grandchild

  • A brother-in-law: Atlee Rexroat, Russell Springs, KY
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 sisters and their spouses,Hazel & John Hubbard, Phyllis & Ermel Wilson, and Ovalene Rexroat. The family requests memorials to First Christian Church, 555 Lexington Avenue, Danville, KY, or Heritage Hospice of Danville, KY.
